Looking for a great gift idea to get your kids thinking about their financial future now? As much as I loved Monopoly growing up – my kids will be playing Rich Dad, Poor Dad’s Cashflow.
From the very first pages of the first Rich Dad, Poor Dad book I was hooked. If I had to list one book that has most impacted upon my life – it’d be right up there.
Cashflow quadrant is basically Monopoly on red bull. Players (there’s kids and adult versions) try to get out of the rat race being tempted by all manner of doo-dads (boats, jewellery etc) all the while analyzing different investment deals form property and stocks to gold and the ever dubious loans to people.
It can take a little while to get the hang of it, but once you do, your vocabulary will change, your financial knowledge will increase and – it’s a whole lot of fun.
